In Russia, the number of regions with high unemployment levels has more than doubled
In June-August, the unemployment rate in Russia was 6.3%, which is almost 2% more than in the summer of 2019. The number of regions where the unemployment rate reached 10% or exceeded it also increased - from six to 13. This is stated in the RIA Novosti study. The most difficult situation is observed in Ingushetia and Tuva - there the unemployment rate was 30.7% and 22.3%, respectively. Next come Chechnya (21.7%), North Ossetia (16.3%), Dagestan (16.1%) and Kabardino-Balkaria (15.4%).
