Tesla set a record for electric vehicle deliveries in the fourth quarter
Tesla delivered 308,600 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2021, the company said in a press release. As noted by CNBC, this is a quarterly record. The previous maximum for deliveries was reached by Tesla in the third quarter of the same year: 241,300 electric cars. In total, Tesla delivered 936,372 electric cars in 2021. This is 87% more than in 2020, when the company delivered 499,647 vehicles.
