The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation approved the sentence of a participant in racist attacks
On September 16, 2009, the Supreme Court of Russia approved the guilty verdict of the Tver Regional Court, issued on July 15, 2009 against Anton Tabachkov. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison in a strict regime colony for the murder of I. Ismatov and Kh. Dostiev motivated by ethnic hatred in 2005. In the cassation, submitted to the Supreme Court of Russia, the defendant's lawyers asked to reclassify the charge from paragraphs.
