The fight for the Russian March brand
The Nashi youth movement announced its intention to take away the Russian March brand from the nationalists. This was stated by Nashi commissars on September 21, 2009, during a meeting with Vladislav Surkov, deputy head of the presidential administration. "Ours" are planning to hold a "Russian March" on National Unity Day on November 4, 2009, gathering at least 20,000 people. Their route will run from Bolotnaya Square to Vasilyevsky Spusk and end with a concert near the Kremlin.
