Explosion in the Orthodox Church of Vladimir
Early in the morning of December 6, 2009, an improvised explosive device filled with bolts and nuts was thrown through the window of the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius at Vladimir State University. Due to the early hour, there was no one in the temple, and therefore no one was injured in the explosion, but church property was damaged. At the same time, a leaflet with some “extremist” statements was planted at the entrance to the temple, the content of which, however, was not specified.
