According to the Ombudsman, at the end December 2012, the initiative group "Birch Grove Kashtak”, which provided the document with 500 signatures of opponents of the construction of the temple in the natural area.

On January 16, 2013, Kazan police demanded that parishioners of the Al-Ikhlas mosque vacate the premises they occupied (Dekabristov St., 117).
