In the Krasnodar Territory, a 19-year-old resident of Tikhoretsk was fined for xenophobic audio files and a video file on a social network. In February 2018, the Tikhoretsk Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office reported that a 19-year-old local resident was brought under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials) and Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols).

On February 7, 2018, security forces raided the homes of Jehovah's Witnesses in Belgorod. Two believers were detained as suspects in a criminal case.
