Arseniy Turbin from Livny, Oryol Oblast, was found guilty of involvement in the activities of the recognized terrorist legion "Freedom of Russia". On June 20, 2024, the 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced fifteen-year-old schoolboy Arseniy Turbin from the city of Livny in the Oryol Region to five years in a correctional colony, finding him guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in a terrorist organization). He was taken into custody in the courtroom.

On June 20, 2024, it became known that a case had been initiated under paragraph “d” of Part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code (public dissemination, under the guise of reliable messages, of knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, committed on the grounds of political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred or enmity) against the abbot of the Moscow Zen Center Ilya Vasiliev.

On June 18, 2024, the Troitsky District Court of Moscow fined foreign citizen Abdukodir Abdukhalilov administratively for “illegal missionary work.” The court found him guilty under Part 5 of Article 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offences (carrying out missionary activity in violation of the requirements of the legislation on freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and religious associations) and sentenced him to a fine. Alexey Malevany received 300 hours of community service. On June 17, 2024, a court in Volgograd sentenced Alexei Malevany in the case of an attack in late January on a teenager who reprimanded neo-Nazis for shouting Nazi slogans and demonstrating a Nazi salute. During the fight, Malevany and his accomplice broke the schoolboy's nose. Malevan's trial began in May 2024.

Parliamentarians propose making corresponding amendments to the laws on combating extremist activity and on advertising. On June 21, 2024, a group of parliamentarians led by deputy Alexander Khinshtein and senator Andrei Klishas submitted to the State Duma a draft amendment to the law on combating extremist activity and the law on advertising.
