Almost 700 thousand workers were reduced in Russia during quarantine - the Ministry of Economic Development
In Russia, 15 million people did not work due to quarantine restrictions, of which 680 thousand were reduced. Such data were cited by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov. “Against the background of the fact that we had 15 million jobs at the peak under hard restrictions (in other words, we didn’t work), that only 680 thousand were reduced today, it is really bad, but the fact that it is only 4.5% of the total, this is generally a good result,” he said.
