The Sobinsky City Court of the Vladimir Region issued a verdict against a 62-year-old resident of the village of Zarechnoye. According to investigators, a conflict arose between the stepfather and his wife’s 22-year-old son from a previous marriage, who returned from the war with Ukraine. During the quarrel, the stepfather, while intoxicated, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his stepson multiple times in the chest and stomach.

The authorities allocated 80 million rubles for holding a music festival “to promote traditional values” | Argument
From July 10 to 19, Suzdal will host the Second Denis Matsuev Summer Festival, the country's largest open-air classical music festival. The Putin Cultural Initiatives Fund allocated a grant of 80 million rubles for its implementation. Taking into account co-financing, the total cost of the festival amounted to 202 million rubles. Moreover, last year the same fund allocated 28 million rubles for the Denis Matsuev festival. The reason for this sharp increase in expenses is not specified.

In 2025, Vladimir State University concluded 7 cooperation agreements with foreign universities from China, Cameroon, Egypt and Sri Lanka, according to the Vladimir State University website. VlSU concluded 6 more cooperation agreements with universities from Thailand, China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Belarus in the current year 2026.
