The Times: Britain's exit from the EU may be delayed until 2020
EU officials are considering postponing the UK's exit from the union until early 2020, writes The Times, citing sources. According to the newspaper, this option began to be considered after Germany and France made it clear that they were ready to extend negotiations with London. Under the current arrangements, the UK will formally cease to be a member of the EU on March 29, 2019. Earlier in Brussels, it was unofficially assumed that the country could receive a three-month delay.
