The heirs of Tuva Jansson forbade the use of images of mummy trolls in Russia
The Finnish company Moomin Characters, which owns the rights to the works of the writer and artist Touve Jansson, no longer issues licenses to use the images of mummies in Russia, and also refused to extend existing agreements. This was reported by VPOST with reference to the company representative. According to the publication, Moomin Characters made such a decision in connection with the sanctions imposed on Russia because of the war in Ukraine, as well as with the company's own position.
